What is checked?

The certificate the server presents for the domain on port 443, its chain, dates, names, and the negotiated protocol.

My certificate is valid but the site shows a warning. Why?

Usually mixed content (an http image or script on an https page), a name mismatch on a subdomain, or an incomplete chain, which this check reports.

How often can I check?

Thirty times a day per visitor; a domain is re-checked after an hour.
