Domain Authority Checker
The score
A 0 to 100 figure from link quantity, link quality and how natural the profile looks.
The band
What the score means in practice, from a new site to a national brand.
The levers
Which of referring domains, follow share and anchor spread would move it most.
What to do with it
- Under 20 is a new or unlinked site; 20 to 40 is a normal small business; 40 to 60 competes regionally; above 60 is a brand.
- Scores are logarithmic: going from 20 to 30 is far easier than 50 to 60.
- A competitor 15 points ahead usually has two to three times the referring domains.
When one page is not enough
These tools check one thing at a time. The free SEO audit crawls a whole site and emails a report with the findings in priority order, and the paid plans turn that report into a proposal with the money at stake.

Is this the same as Moz DA or Ahrefs DR?
No, every index has its own scale. All of them measure the same thing, links from other sites, so the ranking of sites against each other is similar even when the numbers differ.
Does Google use domain authority?
Not as a number. It uses links, which is what the score summarises. Treat it as a proxy for how hard a site is to outrank.
How do I raise my authority score?
Earn links from sites that themselves have authority: local press, industry directories, suppliers, partners and content people cite. Quantity from low sites does little.
