About the backlink checker

Where does the data come from?

From a link index that crawls the web continuously and is refreshed for each domain about once a week. Counts are estimates and will differ from other indexes.

Why is my authority score low?

The score follows referring domains, their own authority and how natural the link profile looks. New sites and sites with links only from directories score low.

Can I see the individual links?

This free check shows the totals. Paid plans on this site list the links, anchors and the pages they point at.

How often can I check?

Five domains a day per visitor. Results for a domain are kept for a week, so a repeat check is instant.
