Plagiarism Checker

Up to 1,000 words.

Free, no account. Tell us where the result should go, type the code from the email, and the check runs.

What it checks

Sampling

Up to eight sentences are picked across the text, the ones long enough to be distinctive.

And

Search

Each is searched as an exact phrase; a page carrying the same run of words is a match.

Also

Score

Unique sentences over sampled sentences, with every match and its source listed.

How to read the result

What to do with it

  • A match on a quote or a common phrase is fine; a match on your own product copy means it was copied, by you or from you.
  • The score is on the sampled sentences, not every sentence.
  • Use the sources list to request removal or to rewrite.
The next step

When one page is not enough

These tools check one thing at a time. The free SEO audit crawls a whole site and emails a report with the findings in priority order, and the paid plans turn that report into a proposal with the money at stake.

Questions

About the plagiarism checker

How does the check work?

It samples sentences from the text and searches each as an exact phrase across the web. When another page carries the same run of words, that page is listed as a source.

Is it a full-text scan?

No, it is a sample-based check, which finds copied passages reliably but can miss a single copied sentence outside the sample. Run it twice with different text if you need more coverage.

Does it detect paraphrasing?

No. Reworded text does not match an exact phrase search. It finds copies, not rewrites.

Is my text stored?

The text is kept with the result for you to open again by link, and deleted after ninety days unless you asked for the email.
